Organisation of Economic Conference in Athens on the subject: “Exit of Greece from the Eurozone. The post-EMU era and the beginning of dissolution of the European Union”

The monetary union in on the verge of collapse. It does not have to sweep away Greece. In the first big economic crisis of Eurozone, the Euro proved to be part of the problem. 

The European Union not only deafens before the enormous economic problems but worsens them, proving once more that it does not have contact with reality.

The EU proved that it takes account only the privileges of Brussels bureaucracy. As always, it ignores the Nations of Europe.

The leadership of EU demolished the illusions about the “European cohesion and solidarity”. Instead of apologizing for its mistakes, it wants to turn the crisis into opportunity asking for more competences. More centralization. The EU wants to abolish what is left of state sovereignty. It wants to relief the nations of Europe from the responsibility to govern themselves through democratic procedures, adjusted to local needs.

The EU proved that it serves the interests of the few against the rights of the many.

While the EU gives lessons of democracy and of human rights to governments inside and outside of Europe, it tramples every aspect of popular sovereignty; at a moment when the economic steam-roller of EMU is crushing millions of workers.

The leadership of EU is neither elected nor accountable to the Peoples of Europe. Despite that it considers itself eligible to accuse Greece of false financial statistics. This is a half-truth equal to a whole lie. The EU conceals the reason the distorted data was advanced. The objective of the EU was Greece to lose her economic independence and be subjugated to the Eurozone.

Since 2001 the EU knew that Greece did not meet the prerequisite conditions to enter the Eurozone. It knew that the fiscal data provided by the government of Greece was rigged, as other countries’ data was when they adopted Euro. But the EU concealed the fact because Euro was a project of political totalitarianism, aiming at the subjugation of European nations. It was never meant to be an economic project. And who accuses Greece? The EU, whose last 17 budgets have not been signed by auditors because the provided data is unacceptable.   

Europe is not any more at the centre of international policy. Power has shifted to the East. The European Union instead of strengthening, it is undermining the special weight of the European Nations. Industrial production declines, the ageing of populations increases rapidly, the cultural liveliness of Europe dies away. The policies of EU destroyed the social fabric of European Nations. The leadership of EU, having lost contact with reality, it undermines the internal and exterior security of Europe.

At the same time in the world political scene military conflicts expand for reasons of ideology, culture, control of raw materials, geopolitical interests. The huge migratory currents change the world map.

The Euro and the EU constitute part of problems that threaten Europe.

We aspire the participants of the conference to become the Fathers and the Mothers of a New Europe freed from the bonds of Euro and of EU.

A New Political Order is born in the post-EU era. We want to let free our imagination to build the New Europe. The participants of the conference will submit plans, thoughts, ideas, on how they envision New Europe.

Detailed plan for Greece to exit Euro. Dissolution of the Eurozone. The post-EMU era. New political alliances in the European Continent. Forecasts about the New Political Order that will shape Europe after the dissolution of the European Union.

•  Attendance

The recipients of the memo are urged to state which part they wish to participate in: as speakers, as members of the organizational committee, as sponsors, as volunteers in the preparation of the conference.

We want native and foreign thinkers to participate. The memo will be dispatched to think tanks, universities, newspapers and magazines, chambers, business unions, political scientists, banks.

Because the democracy and the national independence are threatened permanently by the EU the conference intends to acquire characteristics of a permanent program of study and reflection around the future of New Europe.

Because the conference is taking place in Greece, parallel with the speeches, cultural events will be presented. Ancient Greek music, ancient Greek costumes, and ancient Greek cooking. An exhibition of all Greek currencies.

The success of the conference depends on all of us: frequent distribution of message, generosity of the sponsors, political lucidity of participants.

Submission of essays of those wishing to speak at the conference should begin immediately.

The conference will take place at a hotel in Athens. The precise date and locality will be published when pre-conference meetings of the organizational committee are completed.
